a few fs2004 observations

imho the default aircraft that i have flown (172,cub,caravan) all seem to fly much better than the default aircraft in fs 2002. almost like nicely tweeked airfiles. they fly so well i have no intention of changing anything. anyone else had this experience ?also, it seems that turbulence and the general feeling of actually being in an aircraft moving through real air is modeled better.the gps' are a nice addition.much of the mesh i am flying over seems improvedsome textures seem betterback to the simdon

That's been my experience also. No more "wet cement" pitch/roll of FS2002, and the pitch sensitivity of the FS2002 Lear is "gone"! They're actually satisfying to fly ...... as is! Default trim is now at "takeoff" position for pilots who forget trim.... :)I beta tested FS2004, and now I'm finding improved mesh all over the place, that I wasn't aware off........ just from getting location screenshots for people. I find the taxi thrust on the vast majority of aircraft *greatly* improved, especially the tolerance threshold where aircraft start rolling is *much* smoother now. :-)
