January 31, 201016 yr Dear folks at PMDG,thank you very much for another nice addon. Really looking forward to the planned releases this year! You can count on me and my credit card. One little problem appears though after loading the 747 -8i version. The viewpoint in the 3d cockpit is incorrect. It seems that the defined viewpoint of the "old" cockpit is loaded instead. Where do I have to look or which values can I change to sit in the right position?Regards,IngoIngo,You need to run the config manager and select the 747-8. It should have been placed on your desktop upon installation, but if you deleted it from there you can find it in the PMDG portion of your windows start menu.EDIT: Dang you, Jason. You beat me to it. :(

Keep up the good work guys! Thanks Rick, hope you enjoy flying the -8 just as much as we did developing her. All of us here at PMDG think that the -8 looks hot with the new wings and gigantic engines. She's a different bird, a refreshed and upgraded bird.Glad you like the website!Cheers, Jason Brown - Exterior Model Engineer,http://www.precisionmanuals.comSpecs: MSI Z97 Gaming 7 | Intel i7 4970K OC @ 4.6GHz | Gigabyte GTX970 G1 4GB | 16GB (2X8GB) G.Skill Trident | Corsair Air 540 White Case | Corsair AX750 750W PSU | 27" Samsung SyncMaster 275T+ | 27" Samsung S27D850 | 13" Wacom Cintiq | Windows 10 Professional x64

Get those brakes done? :(Yeah brakes got done, feels nice and smooth... Raybestos sure makes nice stuff compared to the OEM crap. Those would warp within a week of driving in the rain and hitting puddles with a hot brake disc (lots of hills and stop lights around here). I sure like how the ceramic brake pads feel, very smooth and no squeaks when releasing the brakes slowly... and no brake dust after 2 weeks of driving. Very nice stuff...Cheers, Jason Brown - Exterior Model Engineer,http://www.precisionmanuals.comSpecs: MSI Z97 Gaming 7 | Intel i7 4970K OC @ 4.6GHz | Gigabyte GTX970 G1 4GB | 16GB (2X8GB) G.Skill Trident | Corsair Air 540 White Case | Corsair AX750 750W PSU | 27" Samsung SyncMaster 275T+ | 27" Samsung S27D850 | 13" Wacom Cintiq | Windows 10 Professional x64

January 31, 201016 yr The website looks stunning! Great design. As for the 747-8, I'm not sure what to do. There are so many addons I want to have, but if this addon can make the 747-400X have better framerates, I might want to have it. Although, does the exterior model really do anything good to your FPS if you want to fly from the VC?
