This issue is really begginning to bug me :( Has anyone found a solution yet?
No one on the dev or test team sees the issue Phil, until we have some grasp on what's happening on specific systems like yours to cause it, there's nothing we can do.

We have determined the cause of this problem. The front wheel issue can be caused by two things.1) installing FS2Crew for the 747-4002) Disabling the VC in the 747-400 Load Manager. Both of these situations will be remedied by updates from both FS2Crew and from PMDG, respectively. Likewise, the absence of pilot animations will also be addressed by the same fixes. Sorry about any inconvenience!

I don't have FS2Crew, neither have I tried disabling the VC

Windows 10 (x64) - X-Plane 11 - M/B: Asus ROG Maximus IX Hero - CPU: i7 7700k (@5.0GHz) - RAM: 32Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 @ 3200MHz - Video: GTX1080ti - Cooling: Custom water loop (EK 140 Revo D5 pump/res combo, EK EVO CPU block, EK XE360 Rad)

In my case I disabled the first officer side of my 747-400. Is that what you mean by disabling the VC ?

Hello, Unfortunatly, I don't have FS2Crew and VC is enabled in all 747-400 in Load Manager Louis Perrin

Hi Vin,If you mean the non working animated pilots are caused by either one of the things you mentioned I'm sorry to say none of those two things are true in my setup either - I don't have FS2Crew installed and I haven't disabled the v/c.

So those of you having problems, are you flying from the VC or from the 2D cockpit? Do you enter the VC at all? If not, try entering the VC, and then going to spot view. Does the nose wheel turn then?

Gents-We are looking into this- but so far we have found no reproducible cases in-house...We have some theories as to what might cause this- but none of them have born fruit yet...

PLEASE NOTE THAT PMDG HAS DEPARTED AVSIM

You can find us at:  http://forum.pmdg.com

I'm having the issue as well.If one of the developers wants to poke around in my system via Win7 remote desktop, they are more than welcome to.Just contact me to set it up.Best regards,Bob BernsteinKMEM

I suggest you send Vin a PM. I did and in my case he found the problem to be a missing gauge line in my panel.cfg file. After adding the missing line the problem was solved and I also have animated pilots now.

:( So please post that line maybe other can use and try this fix !!cheersMario G

I would like to have PMDG's permission to do so first if this is considered as only a temp fix. I guess the reason Vin asked people with this problem to send him a PM is to be able to troubleshoot in a calm environment before going out officially with a fix.If it's OK with PMDG to post the missing line in here I'll do it, no problem.
