Ok if i was the designer of fsx this is what i would have done. DOnt get me wrong but MS did great with FSX!! I know i could have bought payware but the aces team (now shut down) could have done the following.-Better sound for the default jets-better scenery in smaller airports like (KBWI, KFLL, KTPA etc)-Better clouds-Better aircraft gauges and more buttons to click-More realistic missions- more clickable things like opening up the cockpit windshield or opening cabin doors- virtual cabin- real world airlines-birds-better roadsETCwhat do you think should be added to this list.

I won't comment on the rest of your list, but we couldn't do real-world airlines - we have to get permission from real-world entities to use their logos and likenesses, and none of the airlines would allow that - and they like to sue folks (at least those with deep pockets :-> ), just ask the Beastie Boys :->Tim

Well, it;s a moot point now, but I think it was a big improvement over FS9, enough so that I dont even use it anymore. Even with the enhancements you can add to FS9 and make it, as Mitch calles it, FS9.75, it still doesn't look as good to me as FSX does. Granted you can get 60 FPS anywhere, but as long as I get a smooth 20+ in dense areas with lots of AI I am happy with it.They did include better scenery for smaller airports, better clouds, and birds in FSX. All the rest of those things you can get in after market addons. Still the things I listed are better in FSX than they were in FS9. The birds are there but sometimes hard to find. I usually see them around harbors and docks flying around the boats.

Before shutting down ACES I would have had them do one more patch to fix a bunch of issues.

They could have created an office or warehouse type pre-flight environment for interaction. Pre-flight, weather, log book, passenger or freight, etc. Human type interaction within the UI is missing and would make it less dry.

Is it possible to rescale autogen houses and trees to be a more realistic size? Houses are the size of warehouses in FSX!
