REX with SP1 double cirrus layer

Does anyone noteced that there is DOUBLE layer of cirrus from time to time? I'm using AS with REX. :(

Sorry for double post...what i mean is, two layer of same cloud, where one is just above the other.91692572.th.jpg

Same old REX so it seems. It is a bug they have been working on basically since the release of the FSX version. You see really old references to this on the REX forum. But as far as I know it only happens with the REX weather which I stopped using long time ago.Alex

Yeah it is normal, but is not normal when you see same cloud texture twice one above the other.

sure it isnt fsuipc? it has an option do add a layer when cavok if i remember well..

I get the same thing and that fsuipc option is NOT checked, and I only have it checked using AS (dont use REX weather). When it happens it makes the cloud layer look blurry as its the same texture but shifted slightly. Hope they fix it.

Reduce the number of cloud layers visible...

Reduce the number of cloud layers visible...
I only have it set to 5 or 6. Reducing it will take away from regular cloud layers, will it not?

@TimIt isn't... i just wanted for people to know what i'm using with another WX engine, so they can help me out...sorry for missunderstanding...@JimIt is not ASA, it is AS 6.5. but thanks for replay.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how is this an REX issue if you're using another weather engine?
You're right tim, its most likely not REX. I didn't mean to sound as if I implied that.
