Matrox TripleHead2Go & Nvidia 285 GTX

Hi,Anyone having trouble getting the published resolution of 5040x1050 (3x1680x1050) with Matrox TripleHead2Go?. I have the following and I'm unable to acheive this resolution.1. 1-TripleHead2Go (Digital Edition)2. 1-Nvidia 285GTX video board (dual-link DVI output)3. 3-Samsung SyncMaster T260HD monitorsTheir latest software shows a resolution of 3 1280x1024 @60Hz and I'm unable to go any higher. The resolutions on the left side of their menu shows the following1366x768 601440x900 601680x1050 571680x1050 60Yet all these options have a check next to them and they are unselectable. All I keep getting is a Windows error (Windows 7 64bit).Thanks

Sounds like your displays are configured for clone mode rather than horizontal spanning.

Hi Paul,My system meets all the requirements shown on the referenced page, not sure whats going on. Guess I'll call Matrox tomorrow.

I got it to work under certain conditions regarding driver/firmwareNvidia Vista64 182.05 DriversMatrox Firmware: VXP2K.THDE.v.2.3.40.t6.52-------------------Then you have to install the resolution in the GXM and restart and voila'BTW it only works in DX9 and it's totally worth it.

If this is not a DP version You have a DVI interface a bottleneck. It cannot stand more than 5040x1050 57HzThe last parameter is most important here - make sure, Your displays can work at lowered refresh rate than standart

What driver version are you using? I was unable to obtain my highest resolution, 4320x900 until the newer 195 + series Nvidia drivers. Before that I could only get to that resolution with the original Win 7 drivers that came at release time.

Refreshrate, Thats what I was thinking, but I reversed the figures,.....Glad someone knows what they are talking about... :(
