FS2004 Night Water Textures

Is anyone else having any problems with their night water textures not displaying proerly in FS2004? It seems as if a large shadow is below my aircraft that extends to about 60-80 miles around me and in front with a definate contrast to water I see 80-90 miles ahead. i.e., I see a lighter blue ahead and below me is like a dark grey with clear straight lines seperating the two colors. I have tried to fiddle with the display settings to know end and it seems that with the extended terrain textures checked it does improve a bit (now the grey extends further out into the distance versus just 10-20 miles or so). My performance for the most part is very good for my hardware set-up coinsisting of an overclocked XP1800 and a Ti4200 64meg video card with the 44.03 det drivers. During the day I really do not have the problem as I do at night. Does anyone have any answers? Thanks in advance!Cheers!Richard

I was JUST going to post the same. I have a Ti4600 with P4 2.2Mhz, 1Ghz RDRAM. Same thing. Looks very unrealistic!
