Please consider a patch to the J41 configuration manager

to allow the user to disable raindrop effects on the windshield. I appreciate the effort, but it adversely affects performance and doesn't look good to my eyes. Seems the config manager could allow a checkbox to Disable Windshield Raindrop Effect.Thank you, and please do consider this option, so that folks who enjoy it can keep it, and vice versa.Noel

Set the cockpit detail to medium and it will do just that.
Ahh, ok I'll try that one. Even so, be nice to have the choice to keep higher detail while eliminating the raindrop effect.Thanks :(

I think the removal of rain drops is all it does when setting it to medium. I had to set it to medium to remove the graphics glitch bug and besides the missing rain drops I notice no difference (and no other differences are mentioned).
