VFR Real Scenery mesh Vs. Gex Europe Mesh

Recommended Posts

Can anyone tell me if they have both installed??Does one have a better terrain mesh compared to the other??? Id imagine that the real scenery being based solely on the UK would have further detail in terms of the mesh but i really wouldnt know. Can anyone advise??ThanksTom

Hello TomNeither have any mesh, both are texture setsVFR Real Scenery consists of photographic ground textures whilst GEX are conventional style texturesYou may not see much improvement in the UK with a third party mesh as the FSX default is 76m as is the FSgenesis mesh

Hang on...According to the Just Flight website, VFR Real Scenery "includes 9.6m digital terrain data to vastly improve the accuracy of the relief in Flight Simulator X."Ian
