PROBLEM WITH TURBO AIRCRAFT

Recommended Posts

Guest

Need your help. Something happens in my fs2002 pro: I CANT STOPPING MY TURBO PLANES on land (like cessna original amphibian, otter 300 and all turbo propeller ones), EVEN I stand the throttle and propeller in the idle position. This little birds only remain stopped when I aplly the parking brakes. All the others planes (jets, non-turbo lights, heavies etc) are working without problems.Does anyone knows what to do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Idle gate lever: One for all engines, it mechanically limits the power levers so that with the idle gate in flight position, the power levers wont go below flight idle. In ground position, the power levers are allowed to go to ground idle and further down to reverse. There are no mixture levers.Where

Besides moving the seperate idle control from the flight idle to ground idle (beta range) position, I reduce the prop rpm lever to reduce idle power. Supposedly the idle lever adjusts this automaticly with a beta overide valve on the pitch control system but I would not count on it with all models.Don't forget to move the idle lever to the flight position before your takeoff roll and never reduce it until you are on the ground. The purpose of this lever is due to the fact that turbos take a longer reaction to time to power control adjustments, so for quick power increases such as a go-around, idle rpm in flight is kept higher to reduce the delay in responding.
