Their CPU prices aren't the greatest to begin with. I only buy new procs @ Micro Center now. They have the lowest prices by far. They've been selling the i7 920 for no more than $229 since it came out. In fact, the 920 is currently going for only $199, and the new 930 is only $249. Last I checked Newegg's never listed the 920 for less than about $270. Let's see, brand new 930 for $249, or a 920 for $270+... Hmm, that's a tough one...

You cant touch those MC prices, but its only a walk-in, the I7s cant be ordered at those prices. And unfortunantly there are only stores in about a dozen areas, Your lucky to be living close enough to MC!Still NE overall is great prices if you keep an eye out for the deals and the return policy is 2nd to none IMO.Last Spring I had bought the new ASUS AM2/3 SLI board and set it up with 8gigs of ram ...after almost two months use uncovered a design flaw that as hard as ASUS tried could not be fixed via any BIOS or even a new board, NE took it all back for full refund and no restocking fee and no shipping fee - including the ram.Paul

MaxC - is there a MC store in MSP? When I do my build I think I'll spend the gas to get down there, should be worth it.

Paul, I agree I'm lucky to be living near an MC, I rarely ever have to order from Newegg anymore!Ryan, yes there's an MC in the Twin Cities, Saint Louis Park off of Highway 100, to be precise.

Wow, thats a heck of a story!....demo boxes? :( Don't really know if i buy that, but I've always trusted newegg and will continue to.
