Good video, but to be honest it doesn't really look that crazy a landing. It is basically just manually flying a tight circuit fairly close to the hills; as long as visibility is okay, and one is mindful of any crosswinds causing a downdraft off the hill the aircraft passes on the right just before before the downwind section and keeps some speed on the clock, then any half decent pilot ought to be able to manage a landing like that.Al

Well, yeah, there's a lot of it about. It's been mentioned in the Avsim staff forum about people posing as enthusiastic and supposedly independent 'fans', but it is always going to happen to some degree, since it is difficult to effectively prevent it. Besides which, I don't think anyone would want to curb genuinely innocent enthusiasm for a product from regular forum members, and fortunately, it is invariably fairly transparently obvious when the enthusiasm is less than altruistic in its intent.The ironic thing is, if a product is half decent, then the makers can generate interest in a legitimate fashion on Avsim, by the simple means of sending in a review copy or making a download available for review by simply contacting Robert Whitwell. Wouldn't cost them a cent and is in no way suspect, since Avsim reviewers are under no pressure to be in any way partisan.Al
