Will I be able to use my aircraft / utilities in both FS2002 and FS2004?

Hi,Well, my copy of FS2004 has arrived, only 4 hours till I go home and "play" with it :).The question is, I am not going to dump FS2002 anytime soon, I have to much time and effort in it to drop it now, so am I going to be able to use my payware addons in both sims, particulaly the ones like FSD planes what have config programs and probably but information in the registry, also programs like Activesky, I am going to be able to use it in both sims?.ThanksDan.

Dan, as you know, most payware vendors are producing patches for FS2004 compatibility, but one of the first things I did, was move my Realair Marchetti over and it works like a charm. Gives me something to fly until the Dreamfleet/Flight1 team releases their updates.Great sim BTW!ps If you are disappointed by the "mushy scenery look", read the tweak posts, the Terrain definitions in FS2004 need the same mods that the FS2002 did and will look as good or better.

I think generally speaking you cant use a 3rd party addon software programs (apart from GMAX aircraft) in FS2004 until they release some kind of update. I think what you mean is can you use the version that will work in FS2004 also in FS2002 and I think the answer will be yes, but cant speak for all.For example the new FSUIPC 3.03 works in both FS2002 and FS2004 (each in its own module folder of course).Another example, the new Activesky 1.9 I think also will work in both sims.So basically, wait it out and see what patches/updates come out I guess.
