What to do if FS9 not showing taskbar at top of screen?

Featured Replies

I need the taskbar for certain features access, and I cannot get it to show on my monitor. Do I need to scrap the Gateway monitor? I have another brand monitor and it works fine on it- Both are LCD Flat screens BTWThanksDennis Robart

The other monitor is an Acer brand BTW

Just to be clear, the taskbar should show up if you press the Windows button on your keyboard, assuming you have one.To access the menu bar in flight either press the Alt key or right-click on the screen and remove the check next to "hide menu bar".Hope this helps.regards,Joe

It would be nice if you would share with others just what you did to solve the problem.

Only did as suggested here- Right clicked the item and also used the ALT key on board- didnt know that is where the Vista version of MS OS keeps the FS9 Menu Bar ThanksDR

As far as I know the Menu Bar is the same no matter what Operating System you are using - it should be no different in XP, Vista or Win 7.And the option to switch from Full Screen to Windowed mode "should" work regardless of the monitor you have. Alt Enter should toggle the display.
