March 15, 201016 yr It has been an exciting month or two with all the new releases but now that FSX is becoming more of the Simulator that we have all wished for, I have a whole new set of problems caused by FSX. Hopefully, there are some developers out there who can come up with fixes?Since I now spend all of my time at the computer:(1) My wife, (can't remember her name right now) has had her boyfriend move into the house. March 15, 201016 yr I'd revert to FS9 if I had those problems :( But if you decide to stick with FSX I'd recommend you to get a divorce, sell the house and move into an apartment.
March 15, 201016 yr Moderator That was a pretty funny post Sam.Although I didn't buy PNW this weekend, I did buy the EZdok camera and have spent the better part of the weekend trying to set it up the way I want. This has included about 300 touch and goes in the LDS 767 to try and get the right amount of vibration effect in the landing and take off roll. I haven't even tried to set any cameras in in my other a/c yet.My gf was wondering why she kept hearing a computer voice calling "minimums" every 5 minutes during the day on Sat and Sun. March 15, 201016 yr Sam,Fly in some very heavy turbulences, send a Mayday, Mayday message, give your wife a parachute and tell her to jump off to save her life, give the boyfriend a parchute too, but screw it so it wo'nt deploy, then land the plane safely and you'll be a hero. Oh! and don't forget to record the flight and post the video on youtube so the whole world will cheer at you as being the pilot of the year! :( Jean-Jacques Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI

March 15, 201016 yr Yes a real good post and well said, but all kidding aside there have been more then one marriage go on the rocks cause of too much time on the sim.I read on our CVA virtual forum once - a guy said watch you don't tell too many on how many hours you spend on the sim in case it winds up in a divorce court :( You can say what you want but man does time fly when your simming, testing and tweaking and what not. March 15, 201016 yr It is easier to justify when your better half is sitting 4 feet away, on a networked PC, playing Yo-ville or chatting with FB mates. We used to play multiplayer D2, as well. Gotta go find those geek gals, guys :) Paul Skol
