March 31, 201016 yr This has yet to be fixed--outside view has only horizontal panning. You should have horizontal and vertical panning in VC.You can try the S key to cycle through views. I found it sometimes brings me to the default views where vertical panning works as well. Howard

March 31, 201016 yr I think what needs to be realised here is that the product was released with several features.Over time there will be more features added and bugs etc resolved.I've seen lots of posts from the developer on various sites and nobody can state that there is a lack of support for the product! Those that have it and use it and love it (like me) can only be excited by each new version and those that haven't made their minds up yet, as the future enhanced versions are released, will only decide then to purchase.
March 31, 201016 yr I think EZCA is an amazing add-on, and a great achievement by the guys that made it. A few days ago, I rebuilt FSX from scratch, and was adding things back in gradually, and testing. For a while I was test-flying without EZCA, and man, it just felt so lifeless after being used to EZCA's effects. I think the possibilities are immense, and I'm greatly looking forward to 1.14, and future versions. i7-920 @ 3.2ghz | 6GB OCZ DDR3 @ 1600 mhz | GTX 580 1.5 GB | 1TB WD; 750GB WD | X-Fi Audio | 24" Dell LCD | X52 Flight Controller | REX-GEX-UTX-FTX
March 31, 201016 yr Interesting isn't it how we all want different things in flight sim and just because one person regards an addon as the greatest ever it doesn't apply to every one. After checking out the user manual and a couple of posts on the support forum EZDok is clearly not for me as it would break the way I have been using cockpit viewpoints over many years - at least since active camera was released for FS9. There are suggestions that the features iI need may be included in future versions but I will just have to wait and see what eventuates.Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." March 31, 201016 yr Commercial Member Do you guys remember Flight Unlimited II? It had a view where you would skim across the ground in the same speed and direction as your plane. Very cool.jja Jim Allen[email protected]SkyPilot Software home of FSXAssist / P3DAssist
March 31, 201016 yr It certainly grows on you. I love it and will continue to tweak it to my liking. Thanks a bunch guys for such an innovative product! I truly believe this is one of the best products since the release of FSXRegardsBob G

April 1, 201016 yr Hi! But we not understand your idea. Please explain me your idea at details.... step by step.. May be your idea is a unique idea and we will include it in new versions after 1.14.. I added a detailed post on my issue further up this thread and provided a similar post on the support forum - in summary what I need is to map joystick buttons to the EZCA commands for position forward, back, up, down etc in the same way I can for native FSX viewpoint commands. Apparently this isn't possible. This is my main requirement as at present I can move viewpoints using native FSX commands around a VC/Cabin without the need of a third party addon and I don't want to trade away this functionality in order to gain new features that I may or may not find useful.Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." April 1, 201016 yr Did you know that you can move your viewpoint by first pushing Numpad 2 to enter edit mode, then use the mouse to "aim" your viewpoint and your arrow keys to position eyepoint?

Are you referring to Eyepoint forward, Eyepoint up/down, etc? Maybe I'm misunderstanding you ... but, if you mean setting your eyepoint forward, say, to see the gauge panel, you just create a camera at an excellent location close to the gauges, assign that to a joystick button. Have your main "pilot' view on another button. Press button 1 to zoom to the gauge view -- button 2 then to zoom back out to the pilot view. 1 click does this move, and no need to repeat keystrokes to keep moving in. Cameras can be set up with what's called a "PTP" flag, meaning point to point, and if any two cameras have that flag, the camera will gradually zoom to the other one, as opposed to instantly flashing to it. Everything in this process can be controlled by you. You can control how fast it zooms. When you get to the new zoomed location, you can use the hat or the mouse to pan around ... you can raise yourself up, lower your eye, rotate in a 360 degree circle, it's pretty much unlimited. My summation is that if it's got something to do with a camera, EZCA can probably do it. i7-920 @ 3.2ghz | 6GB OCZ DDR3 @ 1600 mhz | GTX 580 1.5 GB | 1TB WD; 750GB WD | X-Fi Audio | 24" Dell LCD | X52 Flight Controller | REX-GEX-UTX-FTX
April 1, 201016 yr Thought I'd pass along the excellent news ...EZCA 1.14, which is a big advancement for this already great tool, will be released in "1 to 2 more days", according to Marniftarr. :( Here's his post at Simforums:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=34054 i7-920 @ 3.2ghz | 6GB OCZ DDR3 @ 1600 mhz | GTX 580 1.5 GB | 1TB WD; 750GB WD | X-Fi Audio | 24" Dell LCD | X52 Flight Controller | REX-GEX-UTX-FTX
April 1, 201016 yr I like some of the features, but found it far to difficult to setup new cameras.I can't understand that. Setting up new cameras is easy as pie and I actually see no way to make it any easier. I just need to ask: did you read the manual and the more detailed explanations? If so I really don't understand what's so hard about it.For example: I bought the B-17 Accu-Sim yesterday and had about 6-7 cameras set up in under a minute! That certainly wouldn't be possible it were hard to set up cameras. Ah, well, it's your money and your loss if you should decide not to use it anymore. ;)
April 1, 201016 yr I agree, setting up cameras is really easy, even if you're total beginner... VC, external, anything.. but... tweaking the effects... well, that will give you some work. Maybe I miss some "presets" feature or at least easier way to transfer all effects from one AC to another. Maybe some light, medium, heavy "templates".. I don't know, just thinking out loud.
