April 4, 201016 yr Hi there,I need some help with joystick and pedals drivers and hardware issues. Can anyone help me out?I'm new here and haven't found a thread on this specific topic. I used to use an older version of Microsoft Flight Sim (2002 I think) along with my 15-peg joystick and pedals. I have a new computer now, and have bought FSX, but still have my old CH Flight Stick Pro and Pro Pedals. Can I still use these older controllers with FSX? I no longer have a 15 peg port to attach them to my tower, only USB ports. So, I went and bought some adapters to convert the 15-peg to USB. Will this work, and if so, what kind of drivers do I need to get it working?I should be able to do this, right? Please help.Thank you,DavidVancouver, BC
April 5, 201016 yr Why not check with CH Tech Support?See: http://www.chproducts.com/retail/form.htmlCheers,- jahman.
April 6, 201016 yr Plug it in and see if Windows recognizes the new hardware. Depending on your OS, it may automatically install a driver. Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3

So, you may face the same fate. Your best hope is what Arklight1 said, and then see if you can set up axis in FSUIPC. April 14, 201016 yr HelloIf you have XP as an operating system and you buy a Creative Soundblaster with a gameport (see Ebay or go to the Creative site) you can get your old set-up to work. If you have Vista and a Creative Soundblaster with a gameport included, you can get it to work by using a driver by Danial K (google). If you have Windows 7 you are (so far) out of luck. I am trying to get my 15 pin set-up working in W7 using Danial K's driver but so far no luck. I have not tried a 15 pin adaptor, but might go that way as a last resort. It is a hit and miss thing with these adaptors. Sometimes they work, sometimes not. If you go that way you might want to check out:http://www.amazon.com/Manhattan-Usb-Game-P...r/dp/B0009PXKZ8I would be interested to know how you make out. Please post.Regards,Ed
April 14, 201016 yr Hi David,I have an old set of CH pedals and I use a Rockfire gameport to usb adaptor and they work fine, no need for any drivers, just calibrate them in windows game controllers and mine work fine. Can't help you with the yoke, mine is usb, but can't see why it wont work as well they should show up as a standard joystick in windows too.I have win 7 home 64bit and fsx with then acceleration pack for your info.Hope this is of some use.Steve
