April 4, 201016 yr Just wondering if FSX would work better using the technique. Not likely McC.. your one (even though multi-core) proc isn't going to handle a second operating system with FSX on top. A VMWare server with four multi-core procs with a minimum of sixteen gig - preferrably 32 gig of ram would do it. Something like this:-http://www.networks2000.com/servers/dl580.htm i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.

April 4, 201016 yr I have Windows 7 and you can't run FSX in virtual XP. Actually you can't run any game in virtual XP mode. Why? Because you cannot run any application which uses DirectX in Windows 7 virtual XP mode. DirectX isn't supported in virtual XP.And BTW when you run virtual XP in Windows 7 it is Windows XP 32 bit.Todd
