Just Flight 747 and 767 (F lite versions) for FS2004

Featured Replies

I just wanted some feedback as to how satisfied fellow flight simmers who may be using one or both of these planes are. Do they run well on your systems, are you satisfied with the performance and the "eye candy?" Would you recommend them to someone looking to experience heavies like these without the need to do the extensive prep required by great sims such as PMDG 747, etc.Looking forward to your comments and advice,Mike

Hi,Well, I wouldn't know how good the 747 and 767 are but I had the A340-500/600 lite version which was pretty good and nice to fly for not so complexe add-on aircraft with good eye candy as well. I'm pretty sure JF's Boeing aircraft are also quite good if not better since they are more recent material.Regards

I have all three of them installed..the PMDG 747--which I totally love because its such an realistic plane with FMC and everything--the 747 is nice also but I'm not a fan of the 767 just because it only runs good in the non-full screen mode..as soon as I put my flight sim in full screen the plane sim crashes :/ But I highly recommend the PMDG 747 if you like realism :D Good LUCK!! The JF 747-200 I do own (as well as the PMDG 747-400 and 400F). The JF 767 I do not.........The JF 742 version does a good job with the INS NAV system. The FMC models are really dumbed down (nothing like the PMDG so do not expect that). You can make all the variants INS (or FMC if you wish, either way). The INS NAV system is really well done though (and tough to fly a SID/STAR with it!).The Virtual Cockpit is also top notch. But the fact remains. If I am going to fly a long haul with the 747 I am going with the best (the PMDG 747). The JF 742 sits in my hanger really....

I quiote like my JF 747. I don't have the 767, but the 747 is a really good-looking plane. The graphics are really good. As other said, the simulation of the systems is rather basic. The INS is okay, but the FMC doesn't do a whole lot.
