autopilot problem

Recommended Posts

Guest bratonabike

ok so im flying over the english channel, en route to jfk, and i decide that my frames are high enough to handle real world weather. and as everybody knows when u load weather in flight it messes up the pressure a bit. but when i did that my autopilot kept over-correcting on the altutude, resulting in a continous up-down movement of the whole aircraft. i then took off real weather and it stil did it. any help?Lachlan Burns

I think this comes up daily, and is the most common complaint. The problem is the MSFS wx engine. The solution is to use the wx smoothing features of the FSUIPC registered version.

Fly in Clear weather of course :(. The problem with the FSX WX doesn't happen all the time. We read about it all the time, but truth be told, I have flown countless hours without FSUIPC.dll installed with no problems at all, and with real world weather. However, it does help correct many of the weird weather jumps and wind shifts that will cause issues time to time and is recommended.
