I never had the chance to really enjoy the ENB file. Too dark, too much contrast. But in fact I never made any change to the ini file...I'll try with Mitch settings + ******* recommandations. Thanks! :--)

Hi,I run FSX with three monitors "Full Screen" and don't have any problems, are you sure it won't work with two monitors?.

Thanks for this post. I keep seeing so many kudos for the ENBSeries plugin that I've got to give it another try. I attempted it several times before, and never had any luck until someone pointed out that it doesn't work with dual monitors in full-screen mode. Once I figured that out, I was at least able to get it working, I just never got it tweaked the way I liked. Tonight, I'll give 'er another go with the suggested ini settings.By the way, if you run dual monitors in Win7, it's super easy to disable one to use this plugin. Just hold down the Windows key and press P to cycle through the various monitor options until you find the one that enables only your main monitor. When you're done flying, toggle back to dual view again.

David, you may like NickN's settings posted here: http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=32482They are pretty subtle and the link gives some info as to what some of that values do so that you can adjust them yourself. Personally I like all his setting but had to change the night correction from 35 to 30. 35 was way to dark imho.[colorCORRECTION]DarkeningAmountNight=35 to 30 .

It is not supposed to and It didn't work for me. I was also flying in full screen. I did work with MM if I was in windowed mode. If it works for you with a MM set up in full screen, you are very lucky.I think, however, the MM set up was causing more problems than just those with the ENBmod.

Didn't work for me either. I am back to a single fairly big screen in with tracker ir not sure I'll ever use the second monitor again...

NickN's settings are too subtle for me: you might as well not use the dll at all. :( I like some clear bloom!@David: if you find everything too dark (too much contrast) at daytime, change the setting DarkeningAmountDay. I have it at 20. When you set it at zero I think nothing get's darker than it is by default, but you keep the bloom etc. And the setting BloomScreenLevelDay is the most important one for the amount of bloom. I have that one at 85: the lower, the less bloom. These are the two settings people should fool around with first, because they have the most obvious impact.

Jeroen,Seems you have some problem with stutters when posting. You could try to set LIMIT_AVSIM_TEXT_PER_POST=1 :(

Hello allI just installed this add-on and started the Sim. The opening picture now was very dark, after pressing shift 12 it became brighter...I am not sure now which is the default and which is the enhanced picture? I like the brighter one better. Also, does this add-on have to be switches on manually evertime I start the Sim?thanksUwe

Hijack. What's this to do with ENBSeries or its init.file?
Hmmm, sorry sir! If you read up a bit, you will find a tiny little discussion on a sound card. For you though, just disregard.Kind RegardsBob G

Ok, now I'm really confused. :( I'm coming in late on the whole discussion around the bufferpools thread(s) and appreciated the sticky post at the top of the forum. The advice from ******* directs users to not use the ENB series mod when using his bufferpools tweaks yet this post from Sesquashtoo is beaming about how terrific the ENB mod is after using the bufferpools tweak. :( I've used the ENB series mod for quite awhile and am happy with the results. Do I need to ditch the ENB series mod if I follow the bufferpools instructions? :( Sorry if this has already been covered.CheersBrent

----------------------------------Now way! I'm using a setting of bufferpools=1000000 with great success. Have fun! I also don't have to scale back the performance demand and acheive excellent graphic performance, with no crashes, no artifacts...just flying and not holding my breath....for 'if' FSX might crash and burn.BP=1000000 gives smooth sailing..er..flying.

Brent,The reason for *******' recommendation not to use it, is because BP=0 causes system instability when overworked. The bloom mod puts additional stress on the video card and can result in system crash. You can use it with BP=0 as long as you find a point where your system is not over worked (which is obvously system dependent). You know when you hit the wall, because your entire machine will crash in-flight.I'm using the bloom plug-in with BP=0 without issue too.Enjoy!
