Acceleration aircrafts cockpits bugger (F-18 Agusta)

Featured Replies

I recently installed Windows 7 from Windows XP, I left all my games on my other disc to try to come around to reinstall all games. It works for some games, some games work not, Flight Simulator wanted MSXML4 library installed again, done and after that FSX worked perfectly in Windows 7 - except from some textures(?) in the cockpit. The 2 screens (DDI) you have in the F-18 are looking very as well as the HUD. It's the same with the 2-3 screens in the Agusta Westland too (that menas both the Acceleration Expansion aircrafts). All other aircrafts works just fine, like the 747 with similar screens (graphical way), so was wondering if anyone knows what the problem is. I don't have my FSX installation anymore, only the FSX Acceleration and it says I don't have FSX installed and must install that first (as it's not in Windows 7 register that I've installed it).eumzox.png

Thanks ! Didn't help though, still thinks FSX is not installed on the computer. I wonder what it may be, it shouldn't just lose that screens. Must be a graphical problem with Win7+FSX (and maybe the fact it's not installed in this OS).More help to get my dear FSX and F-18 Cockpit to be proper again is very appreciated.EDIT Cheers, didn't run the reg repper as administrator, tried it now and now the installation worked again =) Thank you. Let you know if it fixes the problem with cockpit.

Hmm installation crasched in the end and said to run it again (and again and again). So anyone know what might be wrong ?

Aight, I'll find a way to get my hands on some FSX installation media.

Why would you need to do that? Unless you're running a pirated copy? How can you own FSX and not have the install DVDs?

I bought it once, I lost DVD - simple as that(?)

Too much work internet gives me back the files faster. Have the CD-key still so should be ok. But still wanna know what the heck happened with just the FSXX aircrafts and why their cockpits f*cked up.

The bolded part is called piracy. I'm saddened that you support it. :(

I have my manners. And I know for myself I have bought the game so I have no problem doing it. It's the logical part that counts - people downloading games without have an original - that's what I would call piracy. Well you can discuss this matters for hours let's just leave it as it is. And I assure you that I do not like piracy (either?) - someone builds a house and wants to sell the house -> someone pays for the house and can use the house, simple as that. Hopefully he can use his house somehow even if he lose his house keys ;=)

You paid for the files that came on the disks you carried out of the store, not the ones you are planning to pirate off the internet. You lost the disks, that's your fault. With that said, if you wish to continue frequenting AVSIM I'd highly recommend dropping this subject. I have an itchy mouse finger with the cursor over the ban button for pirates. I'll help you get started by closing this pointless thread down.
