Deleting the UFO Fly-by in Secre Shuttle Mission?

Featured Replies

Hi,Is there anyway I can delete or remove the UFO fly-by when playing the Secret Shuttle mission?I want to play this mission normally and keep it realistic and the UFO is quite annoying.I also deleted the sounds file too and that worked out OK.But is there any way I can edit a file that it would not show that UFO flyby?Just please tell me on what folder is it under? I looked everywhere but no luck.I think its not a UFO, but rather an F-117 Nighthawk or a Aurora.Thanks.

It wouldn't be trivial, since you'd need to decompile the mission file, make very careful edits, then recompile it. Definitely not for the casual tinkerer... ;)

With spb2xml you can decompile the SPB and alter the XML with notepad. With the simpropcompiler (...SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimProp) you can recompile the XML to SPB.The XML itself is pretty self explanatory.Easy-peasy :(

Who says it

"I´ll rather be down here wishing I was up there

than be up there wishing I was down here"

Ok, thanks anyway....I will just keep as it is...I removed the sound files and the VISUAL AIDS only. But that should be enough.....And it loads fine....Thanks again!!!!!
