fs2004 real weather

Recommended Posts

why is the real weather always so late? Are they ever going to fix this? Activesky is always accurate but i don't like when the weather suddenly pops up out of nowhere. Is there any way i could keep the transitions to mild while using activesky?

A switch to the payware version of FSUIPC may help. Global weather doesn't help either. That fix has to wait until AS2.0.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

Under Visibility check the "Smooth Visibility Changes" box and increase the time.In ActiveSky make sure the "Disable Cloud Transitions" is checked.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support

"why is the real weather always so late?"Well, that is a feature MS did build in especially for us Europeans. We fly most of the time after work, in the evening. But as we prefer to fly mostly in America (North, South or Central) we set the time back for some 6 to 9 hours, so we have nice day time. Then we put the "get real weather" to work and voila, we get exactly the weather of the time and location we are flying in. :-hah Understand? Jozef http://www.dse.nl/~joker32/pictures/signature.jpg

You're right but they do this to compensate us for the fact that we have to set our Country Settings to US in order to get reflections on the water :(
