Call of the Wild

Recommended Posts

This was something I was working on until I ran into the text issue on the rudder. Since that has been corrected I thought I would move forward. This a definite WIP. I can find only 4 images of this aircraft on the internet. There seems to be a lot going on the wings but I can't find any top images. The N font is not correct and I don't think the aft top fuselage is all yellow either.Any suggestions?COTW.jpgRuss

Many may fly and some are rewarded

handsomely, but the wings of gold of a

United States Naval Aviator mean more

than flying. It is dearly bought, requires

sacrifice to keep and represents a way of life.

It looks great, Russ. You may just have to take some artistic license with the areas you can't find shots of.

I need to get a life. I have spent most of the day fixing the fuselage textures. I had to start from scratch. It is being reviewed to determine what needs to be fixed. If I get a green light I will try and upload it today.COTW_4.jpgRuss

I believe it is finished. The N font is not 100% correct but it it will have to do.The textures will work on the wheeled and amphibian versions only.Much to my surprise and dismay the rudder textures do not display correctly on all of the other variants. I thought Carenado had fixed that with the last patch.I am going to try and get it uploaded to AVSIM and Flightsim.com sometime today.COTW_5.jpgCOTW_6.jpgRuss
