fs2004 dash 7 flight dynamics and ather add on aircraft

Recommended Posts

Guest dredre20171

In an earlier post i did what the other guys told me 2 do. i went into the fuel and aircraft loader. Fuel was fine so i went into the aircraft loader. The first two areas were at 170lbs. each. The third was over 500 lbs! I changed it to 170 also but the plane was still showing to be too nose heavy. No matter what wait i tried to do the plane would not balance out.Its the same thing with every add on aircraft I put in there. This makes it basically impossible for landings. Does any1 know of a fix for this?

Yes, I do ... :-)I am working on the Dash 7 and Aero Commanders now for FS9, updates to be released this weekend. The flight dynamics have changed up a bit for FS9 and we need a little time to adjust for that. Please be patient, and forget about the load balancing act to fix this issue. The only thing that changes for you is trim requirements and will hardly be noticeable on large aircraft, more so on GA types.Once the fixes are in and load stations are added then you can experiment with the load changes. :-)Milton

Hi Milton,I see the flight dynamics difference very clearly when flying AFG's YS-11. In Fs2002, the "authentic" autopilot levelled off when the pitch control was zeroed. In Fs2004, the aircraft settles into a minus 1,500 fpm nose-down attitude.Looking forward to your Commander update, Many thanks.
