FS9.CFG Tip

If you want to skip going through C: Drive to get it, do this:Go to your FS9 directory, right click anywhere in the open field area (not over folders) and select Create New Shortcut.Navigate to the location of your FS9.CFG (Varies with different OS) and click OK. Everything you save will be saved in the original FS9.CFG location. You are just makeing a shortcut.Now you won't have to go through a million folders to get FS9.CFG. ;)Regards,

Taking your suggestion a few steps further, also make shortcuts to scenery.cfg, FSUIPC.ini and any HTML pages that you frequently use from ...FSwebLearningCenter... There's a wealth of FS2004 information here especially in the navigation section.Now take these shortcuts and put them into a new folder called FSQuickies. Place this folder on your desktop and you now have the first signs of a power user in that you have quick access (two clicks) to frequently used files.Regards to all,

Do the same for the directory in My Documents and in Application Data. Than set up these shared maps as a network drive.You will have three extra network drives and you are also quickly in the directories. Add to these shared maps your download directories and your Addon Software directory and voila... everything under control
