download limit

Hi, just got tileproxy, great piece of software. Had a question about it though.Does using tileproxy have an effect on your download limit with your isp? I looked at the tileproxy folder with the map tile jpg's and it's fairly big so I'd be interested to know whether it will count towards my download limit?Thanks

Every web page you look at and every file you download counts. Therefore all the images downloaded by TileProxy count.Paolo

No, not unless you delete them; same for scenery tiles.When you fly in an area that you've flown in before, Tileproxy doesn't need to download imagery or remake the same scenery again (typically). But it is 'managing' and constantly checking that you have the scenery available - so it looks just about as busy as the first time you flew, but it's not actually. Once you fly into a new region it will resume all of the needed functions, downloading imagery and making additional scenery.Loyd
