FS 2004 - Shimmers!

I've got a full scale attack of the 'shimmers'; never had this problem before, well, not so noticeable anyway! Could some kind, knowledgeable soul out there please help?KenSomerset, England"Anything is Possible"

I got rid of them by moving the mip map slider down. Didn't seem to affect quality much.Todd

Yes,By moving the Mipmapping slider down from 8 to 4 got rid of the shimmers. It was just awful at Meigs. 7,6,5 made no difference.PAbit KD7-EWin98 (orig)Athlon XP2500+ (Barton)512 MB PC2700Abit Siluro GeF4 Ti4200

This seems to fix it for everybody.Turn Mip Map down to 4 and everything is back to normal!Regards,Boone
