A new 757 for FSX?

Recommended Posts

FYI, I doubt Level-D is making progress with their 757, because as you see, no further announcements or previews are made.
If you knew anything about the people who run Level D, you'd know that they don't do announcements or previews, they just finish the product and release it when they're ready. Sometimes I REALLY wish we did the same thing here...

The Captain Sim model will crash FSX, because my computer isn't strong enough to run the add-on. Also, the QualityWings model isn't as realistic and still has too many bugs on it, and no virtual cabin appears. Additionally, some buttons are unclickable. The POSKY model's FDEs are close, but when tested doesn't run like what the real thing would have gone through. If PMDG created the model, they have the power to use highly-detailed both exterior and interior models to match real photos, while at the same time making the 757 run llike the real thing. FYI, I doubt Level-D is making progress with their 757, because as you see, no further announcements or previews are made.
I'm going to have to disagree regarding our model. Shape wise, we feel that we have the most accurate 757 model available. Regarding bugs, we spent four months on our Service Pack and have addressed nearly all the bugs reported in the initial release as well as countless amounts of additions for SP1. We have a hotfix coming up for users that reported minor issues with our service pack, and for SP2 we will be releasing FSX native models free of charge.

Hi! I don't have your 757 yet, so I am just asking is the QW 757 a "complex" procedural simulation or a "lite" one? I only saw pictures and they really impressed me, also it is always nice if a developer does not abandon an older release but keep upgrading/patching their products.

IMO the CS767 is a port over from the 757. Just tinted panels and a different exterior.

Guys, I let Emil's original post stay because he was defending his product against what he saw as an inaccurate statement, but this shouldn't be a Q&A session for another company's product here - take it to their forum please.

4 Years later and we have no 757 that I can say we properly have a good platform for. At this point most of the airlines that I fly that have the 757 are retiring them and I am lucky enough to have the Airbus Extended and the NGX to replace the real world counterparts. Its a shame but we will probably see a GOOD 757 for FSX or P3D 2.0 when all the cargo carriers are using them much like the MD-11

I think my hangar is  now full of Boeings.  I do not fly Airbus.  My next and last purchase for FSX will be the Quality Wings 787.

I say that something will be my final purchase every time!  :P

Also, where do people get the ideas to post on a four, yes, four year old thread. 2010 was long, long ago!

It's been 9 years since it was suppose to be built. Dredging this topic back up after 4 years is more development than the vaporware 75 ever had.

A PMDG 763 would be incredible. More so than the 787 in my opinion... Still tons of birds out there, lots delivered only within the year or so. One can hope!  LDS should be or fear no kind of competition - that thing is fantastic. However it's from an old sim age where times have changed and isn't really up to standards, unless you LOVE 2-D panels only.

Anybody knows what happens to the company Level-D and their project of the 757?
