Hi Guys,A new announcement.... a new FSX order has come in for G-VROC (Mustang Lady) in the latest Virgin Atlantic colors as announced this week.I am currently working on some fine-tuning of the main titles and rear fuselage, but expect completion over the weekend.I was wondering if anyone is interested in the FS9 repaint for this??? Let me know? If so, I will convert the textures.Attached some in-progress snapshots...Cheers,

Hello Everyone,Juts to let you know I posted G-VROC to Avsim today. ID# is 278633.FYI - I will probably do an update of this at a later stage as there's really limited photos to base the repaint on, but I think it's a good first attempt. I know of some minor defects, so I will wait until more photos appear and then update. As for next repaints, I will finish off the "double pack" of Air Cargo Germany B747-400BCF aircraft this weekend (D-ACGC & D-ACGD) and then to grips with G-VLIP.RegardsMark

Hi Alex,Cosmic girl is posted to Avsim. Only 2 people had problems as far as I know ... you and Charlie. I have sorted Charlie out and he's now got his textures working now.Are u still having problems? Based on thread above, it sounds like you had 2 files missing. Can you reload /re-install? If you still have problems. Email me your aircraft.cfg file and I'll take a look. I believe the texture files themselves are actually OK... it's more a configuration problem.Regards,

Hello Josua & everyone,More repaint news...I have finally finished up the 2 Air France repaints for FSX (F-GITH and F-GISC) and have posted to Avsim today.ID# numbers are 278711 and 278712 respectively. In addition, I also posted a new 747-400BCF (D-ADGC) for Air Cargo Germany. That fleet had comprised of 2 747-400BDSF variants but in May a -400BCF joined the fleet, hence this later variant is also modelled. I think this is a more realistic paint than the -400BDSF since the former were created when I first started painting. Snapshot below...And... I can tell you the 'Harry Potter' livery for Virgin is taking shape quite nicely. I hope you will be pleased with the outcome.... :( . I'll send more news tomorrow.Last, here's my updated repaint list...Repaints List (completed and outstanding):

  1. Thomas Cook fictional livery (Dylan) - release - maiden flight successful. Pilot Dylan at the controls.
  2. Qantas Australia bid (VH-OEB) - posted to Avsim.
  3. Singapore Star Alliance livery (mine) - posted to Avsim.
  4. Cargolux LX-ZCV (-400 converted freighter all white) (David) - posted to Avsim
  5. CargoLux LX-PCV (all white -400F) (David) - posted to Avsim
  6. AtlasAir (#Sonair) 747-400 (N263SG) (mine) - posted to Avsim
  7. Air Cargo Germany (D-ACGC) (mine) - posted to Avsim
  8. Virgin Atlantic (G-WOW) (Hopskip) - posted to Avsim (FSX & FS9)
  9. Virgin Atlantic (G-VROC) (mine) - posted to Avsim
  10. Air France (F-GISC) (Josua) - posted to Avsim
  11. Air France (F-GITH) (Josua) - posted to Avsim
  12. Virgin Atlantic (G-VLIP), Harry Potter livery (GEC1876, Leffe) - final assembly phase
  13. Virgin Atlantic (G-VXLG) Ruby Tuesday for FS9 - prep work started
  14. Thai cargo (fictional 747 but based on current 777 livery -FSX & FS9) (Maurice) - prep work started
  15. Olympic Airways fictional (George)
  16. UPS (F/BCF) (Marcelo)
  17. Air Canada n/c (Ian)
  18. Dragonair freighter (mine)
  19. Transaero 747-400 (mine)
  20. New United livery for -400F (Lachlan)
  21. New Aerolineas Argentinas livery (mine)
  22. Updated TNT with "Sure we can titles" (Alex)
  23. A surprise!!! - Open position -depending on majority of requests made & my own ability to repaint.Aer Lingus old livery - votes = 1Thai Cargo (#2) (based on Moe's last request above) - votes = 1

Regards,

Hi All,Just to let you know I spotted a small defect in the AF repaints with the Skyream logo. I have already rectified the F-GITH repaint and v2 now exists in Avsim. ID# 278743. I will update F-GISC accordingly. Also, I have a request in to provide the Evergreen -400F in FS9 format, so this is currently being tested by a volunteer. I plan to upload this to Avsim before the shutdown this weekend.Last, based on Lachlan's comment and to avoid any confusion, my next repaint was going to be a -400F variant based on the Thai cargo livery found on the 777 Freighter. Here's a link to a picture...http://www.flickr.com/photos/pilotkev/4654216677/This was based on Moe's request above in the thread and I will create FS9 and FSX packages for this. OK?RegardsMark

Hi Josua,No problem. Sorry you had to wait but I hope it was worth it. Enjoy your flight! To all Virgin Atlantic pilots, I wanted to give everyone a preview of Virgin's 'Hot Lips' which I'm working on. Not quite finished yet, but it looks quite promising...I have to admit, this one took a lot of hand painting and many hours to achieve this. :( Enjoy!Regards,

Hey Mark did you ever upload that fix for the Evergreen repaint in FSX where the flag on the right side is not flying the correct direction? Also landing lights look a little strange when lighting up the fuselage. Like a block, just a straight line at the beginning
