Reverse Thrust not Working

Recommended Posts

I'm currently flying the 747 400 PDMG using FSUIPC and saitek controls. The only problem I ahve is I can't get to the Reverse thrusts to work on landing. Can someone help me with the programming of FSUIPC so I can get them to work sucessfully. Many ThanksRichard

Full name here please Richard, see the forum rules.I wasn't aware that game controllers have reverse thrust travel (I have a cheap joystick); regardless, does pressing F1 then F2 on the keyboard activate reverse thrust?

Not sure how to add name. F1 and F2 are programmed under Options in Flight Simulator but no they won't work when pushed. Richard Jellyman

F1 -F4 are default throttle controls on all MSFS that should always work. If not, make sure you are not intercepting keyboard commands with FSUIPC and make sure you only have one FSUIPC.dll in your system.

Hi Richard,Once you have sorted out the default keyboard commands and got the forward thrust and reverse thrust working correctly, it should be posisble to get these working on the Saitek. You don't mention exactly what Saitek equipment you have however???I have a Saitek X52Pro joystick and throttle and it is posisble to get the reverse thrust going. It took some time hunting on the web and I found the instructions in German, but eventually I was able to use the slider control on the throttle to vary the amount of reverse thrust on landing. If this is the situation you are in, let me know? I will need to translate the instructions from German to English , but this may help you.RegardsMark
