Engine Start - throttle position

Recommended Posts

I've just had my first attempt at using FS2crew but have encountered a problem when starting the engines. Whenever I give the instruction to start the left engine, I get the response "Check the throttle position"I've adjusted the position using my CH throttle quadrant and by clicking and dragging ensuring that the throttle position is shown as 0% but to no avail. Using F1 and F2 no longer works after installing FS2crew. CLs are in taxi. Using W7 32bitAny suggestions pleaseMike

Hi Mike,I always just hit the "F1" key. Works a treat for me.FS2Crew does not override the F1 key, so I'm not sure why the F1 key doesn't work for you. I suspect your CH throttle quad is overriding the F1 key event.Try the throttle in varying different positions for now.Anyone here have a CH throttle that can comment?Cheers,

I had the same problem. When you are setting the power levers before engine start, hit F2 several times until you see the two green "REV" lights on the coaming panel. Next, hit F3 several times until the green "REV" lights are extinguished, then continue hitting F3 about 5 more times after the lights are extinguished. This should put your power levers in the correct position for engine start.

I had this also, I found that move the throttle to idle and then reverse power a little until there is a gap between the main throttle and the little lever in-front of it. Works fine after that.
