FS9 .cfg

Recommended Posts

Hi All,Firstly, has anyone else had the same trouble finding their .cfg file for FS2004, I can't seem to find mine at all, I have read the above explanation on where it is supposed to be but still can't find it, any help here would be great thanks,(why they never left it in the main FS9 folder is beyond me !)and secondly, I'm having trouble with my trim, I'm callibrated etc and use the Saitek X45 stick and throttle, I used the X36 before that and it just seems to want to climb all the time in the Lear45, even with the autopilot on and alt set and vertical speed set it still bursts the altitude etc, again any help here would be great thank you.Steve,

Steve - It could be that you cannot see hidden files. To check/fix this, open Windows Explorer and click on ToolsFolder OptionsViews and be sure the option to Show Hidden Files and Folders is checked. Not a clue on the Saitek.Doug

>why they never left it in the main FS9 folder is beyond me !>They did it so that differant users on a single machine can have their own settings, ie log on as you and run FS - your settings are used, I log on, run FS and my settings are used.

Steve,I have a Saitek X45 and had the same problem. For the X45 trim problem try decresing the elevator trim axis sensitivity. Also add a little null zone. Then before setting the autopilot alt hold, center the trim. It works for me.Doc G
