FSX Fuel Trucks and Airport Vehicles

Featured Replies

Why does my fuel truck disappear when I call it using Ctrl-F in my AFCAD?I used ADEX to create a network of vehicle (pink) taxipaths and (green) linked them to a (pink) vehicle parking spot where the fuel truck is initially parked. When I call for fuel, I see the truck disappears before me :( Also, is it possible to get vehicle airport objects (e.g., CaterTruck Euro) to move along the taxipaths?

Is the vehicle path tied into the airplane taxipath?

No there were not ... thanks Art :( I have the taxipaths going under the jetways so the airport vehicles will not interrupt the aircrafts, but it appears the vehicle paths only need to link with one of the aircraft paths to get the fuel truck going. What about getting other airport vehicles (e.g., buses) to travel along the paths ... or are they always static only?

I'm not aware of any way to control airport vehicles other than the fuel trucks. Setting scenery complexity controls how many of these vehicles appear. Set to extremely dense to see everything that is available. I think these vehicles have their own paths programed like AI flight plans (except for vehicles placed as static scenery objects).
