Water textures at night

Hi all,My water textures at night is very bright when it should look almost pitch black. I am using REX for my water textures. Any suggestions how I can darken my water textures only when it's night?Thanks

How does that work with REX?Does it make it better? Worse?Because I'd like to make water at night dark, but don't want to mess up daylight water.Thanks!

Just use it and tweak to you liking. The gui is set up to look similar to the FSX menu. Just a heads up though FSWC is NOT compatible with SM3.0 (Well not with out adding recompile entries in the shader.)

You can fiddle with it on your own or try some of the presets.Personally I always go back to the preset called "Orions favorite" or something with the name "Orion" in it.Anyway, it gets rid of the milky looking water reflection at night when the moon is out.

Thank you! But will it replace the actual water textures from REX? or simply alter it by brightness, etc.

FSWC only modifies the Water20.fxh shader file in (FSX folder name)\ShadersHLSL\Terrain\ folder and does NOT alter ANY textures what so ever, only the shader, no more no less.
