FSX Crashes because of FS Recorder?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I was just wondering everytime I use the "Advance Replay" or "Play as Traffic" + the fact that when I hit the runway, FSX just crashes mysteriously... Why does this happen and why? I need the solution if it is there. ~Andrew Coz

Assuming you are using the current version of FS-Recorder, are you sure, you are letting it finish saving the file? For some reason the new version takes much more time to complete a save then the old version did. Sometimes 10 to 15 minutes. The file is not saved until it returns you to FSX. An attempt to play a incomplete file could crash FSX.

Thanks

I don't get exactly what you mean but I use the Advance Playback and Play As Traffic and play the already-recorded flights few weeks back. I don't record, save then Play with AP or PaT immediately. FSX Only crashes when I use the AP or PaT tool but not the simple "Play" button.
