Takeoff Speeds - FMC Limit of 160 kts

Recommended Posts

The FMC limits takeoff speeds to 160 kts. In the Takeoff Speeds charts from 01_TAKEOFF_PERFORMANCE_737_678900_V14.pdf there are quite a few values over 160 (e.g., 166 for B738, flap 1, 180k lbs). Is there a way to change this FMC limitation? Thanks,Stacey

Not sure what you are referring to, I am not seeing where the FMC is limiting take off speed? Did you review the FMC USER

Any time I've tried to enter a speed greater than 160, I've always received and error message (Invalid value or something similar). Have you had a different experience?Stacey WeaverWinXP SP3FS9 737-600/700/800/900

Hmmm are you sure you have the other values correct?
