Default mesh / 38m mesh and my findings. Also help please!

AllI have always used 38m mesh since it has been available but Im noticing a big change from fs2 to COF. When flying in the cascades east of seattle which is very mountaineous an enourmous amount of peaks and valleys to be drawn for both the default mesh, but especially using 38m mesh. Looking forward as opposed to side vision is where the redrawing/adjustments are most noticible. It is soooooo annoying compared to fs2 that it is almost pitiful. I do have a high end system with a 9800 pro and really most flying is really enjoyable as far as the eye candy is concerned but the mountain flying is really annoying. It is constantly making adjustments and really takes away from enjoying the scenery. I have experimented with the terrain section with all keys and values and it appears that the default and extended radius values seem to help more than any other value changes. By lowering these values the drawing has subsided tremendously but of course it does affect the clarity of distant objects and such. Was curious if anyone else has experienced this and maybe would share their results and hopefully some fixes. If not, I would assume I need a Pentium 6 in order to use the 38m mesh effectively.RegardsBobG
