Classic Jets Freeware

Recommended Posts

Went to RAF Duxford yesterday to the imperial war museum, great day out. While i was there i ventured on to a couple of old civil jets they have parked out side, VC10, Trident and BAC 111.After getting home i thought id take a look on the net to see if i could find these jets for FSX. Well i found a website by a guy called Dave Maltby who has produced some absolutely fantastic versions of the aforementioned. Complete with VC, sounds and tons of liveries. They are my new favourite addons, a bit fiddly to install as they are really designed for FS2004 but with a little bit of help from the readme and some common sense i got them working. Fantastic!!!!They include all panels and checklists etc, not sure how they fly compared to the real thing, but they seem great to me.Anyways i thought id recommend them as they are a change from more modern craft and more common craft.Tom

There's also the wonderful Historic Jetliners Group. Probably one of the best 707s around! Other than the 707, they have loads of other classic jetliners, such as those released by Erick Cantu (Vistaliners 727).
