Issues with FS2004 solved

Recommended Posts

1. Installed second WinXP copy on seperate partition exclusively for use with FS2004.2. Did not install any add-ons that are not certified to work with FS2004.Result: Perfect performance with no issues other than the known ATI driver problem in full screen mode. And this after I was very close to give up FS2004 and reinstall FS2002. Lesson learned: No matter how well one keeps a Windows installation, there's loads of stuff and settings that may conflict with a sim like FS2004. And even though FS2004 looks a lot like FS2002, it is a different beast (as can be seen from the memory leak discussion) so assuming that what worked for FS2002 will work for FS2004 is taking chances.Best,MichaelAXP 2700+ASUS NForce21GB RAMATI 9500 pro Omega
