Am I the only person using FSX that has this problem? There should be info somewhere that will solve this problem.

No, everyone on planet earth running FSX sees precisely what you're seeing, unless of course they've installed some "replacement" for the default FSX "spotlight.bmp" file.

Yeah check out these lights.... they are built into models though, not available as an effect... or so I think...http://lotussim.com/features-general-landinglights.html

What's in your posted picture is what I see in my FSX installation. The only difference is that you see it as a problem and I have never considered it so.I have never liked flying in FSX at night. While visability during landing is not a problem, seeing my way from the runway onto a taxiway is nearly impossible.

I also have the same problem but only on my PMDG 737, landing light are working from outside view but do not illuminate from cockpit view.
