I surely hope.....

With the new FS2004, I surely hope to see two great aircraft, built with the very high quality they deserve. I am still wondering how come and nobody built them so far. Yes, I'm talking about the F-4 Phantom II and the English Electric Lightning. If you love aircraft, then you know them and you know what I'm talking about. Before you criticize me, yes, there have been several payware and freeware, but, let's be honest. Nothing that could approach FSD, Dreamfleet, Phoenix, Captain Sim and Lago quality. I surely hope.....Andyhttp://www.x-plane.org/users/mirage/signature2.jpg

Hey Michael, good to see you man :-) I have the Alphasim Phantom. I bought it a long time ago. Surely, it is the best Phantom for flight simulation, but, no offence to the Alphasim guys, it is not up to the standard of the above mentioned companies. And I mean a very accurate flight behaviour (Alphasim's is the best so far) plus full system functionality (ok, at least in the front cockpit, cause I know the back driver has to do some things also, vital for a healthy flight) coupled with a high quality panel. As for the TLUK design Lightning, from what I read, doesn't even show the aircraft's brutal power :-)Andyhttp://www.x-plane.org/users/mirage/signature2.jpg

hey Andy, I hear ya bro! I think the reasons behind this are because of the market, you will usually only see high quality payware addons that appeal to a broad market, which seeing the amount of time invested in the production makes perfect sense. I am still waiting for an FSD quality payware helicopter (preferably an AS 355 series, hint, hint), but it will probably never happen, then again you never know.Regards, Michaelhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com
