Since Microsoft has seen fit to spread FS2004 all over the computer, has anyone found a way to consolidate it all back into the same directory? I really do not like all the saved flights etc. going onto my boot drive as it causes a space problem.

I'm no techie on this matter but I would suggest that the answer is NO if you are running XP - and possibly W2000.However, I've also installed FS2004 under W98 and everything goes into the same folder structure as Fs2002 did except that any saved flights find their way into the boot drive.David

I guess it was done that way to allow playing for all users on a computer with limited accounts. Since all the files that are written to resides in each users own directory there won't be any write access problems, as was the case with earlier versions. But last time I checked the folder on the boot drive was very small, and it alone shouldn't be able to give any space problems.- Oyvind

Ah, for the love of something like Unix's symlink. Make a link where the program thinks the stuff is to where it really is and it doesn't matter where the data is...........
