September 8, 201015 yr Hmm, the ******* tweak, is that when you do 10 ave maria's before booting up the computer and then 5 before FSX? :( Sorry, just couldn't resist. On a more serious note, i think i have heard of it but do you have a link?CheersJump into the Graphics Corruption in FSX sticky in this forum. This was the tweak where you "reduced" the buffer so to say? i.e if you had too high fps fsx would crash, but if your fps was stable you would get higher fps?Edit: that sounded like an oxymoron, ill just read it instead of asking rethorical questions ;) William GreenCase: CM HAF 922 PSU: Corsair HX 1000W Mobo: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe CPU: Intel i7 2600K 4.8Ghz HT Off GPU: MSI GTX 770 Lightning 2GB RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB 2133Mhz (9-11-10-28-1T) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 Soundcard: SB XtremeGamer PCI Screen: EIZO Foris FG2421 "240"hz OS: Win7 64

One part is to better place the processes of FSX on the four cores of an i7 so to make it all run more efficiently, then you can dictate how much time is to be spent on scenery etc. that sort of thing. The other part is removing or greatly reducing the bufferpools. With this tweak (which requires externally limiting FSXs frame rate), with an i7 + Fermi GPU (or even a 285) you can eliminate the bufferpools entirely and have the processess run straight from the i7 to the GPU, but you need a GPU to that can keep up, and you need to limit the FPS, or else a spike in the frame rate will cause artifacts or even a crash of the system. September 9, 201015 yr DanYou crack me up man. Folks like you have read here before, these folks do not rush a plane out, they take their time and make it nearly perfect in the first release. Those who have been buying from them for a long time, know it and are patient. It will be released when it is right and not a moment sooner, at the most there will be 1 patch as a follow up for odd anomolies that come from different systems.Patience is a virtue, so be virtuous. September 9, 201015 yr Just a quick question to the powers to be....or someone with better eyes or knowledge than me...Have noticed that newer 737 ng's have a very dark grey almost black panel (more 787 style and color) as opposed to older ones that have a ligher grey style. I think the newer ones look pretty sweet and just wondered if us users will be able to switch that aspect out any as other ac you guys have done have had the option...Newer dark gray/black:http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6915104http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6903023http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6899179http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6859976http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6759031Older light gray:http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6750134http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6775279http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6836189http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6823835Think the new ones look pretty good, but as we are going for a bit used looking, not sure, thought I would bring it up:)The dark panels look schmicko Jeff Blyth MD11 J41 747 NGX . . awaiting 777 !!!
