September 19, 201015 yr This is the reason why i cant wait for the NGX. 3 years into building it and it started based on the NGX being the plane it would be interfaced with. Looking forward to getting all switches, buttons and announciators working. Lots of work still to do. Apologies for the quality of the pics, taken on an iphone.Mike Kendall

September 19, 201015 yr Will there be any kind of ACARS functionalityKind Regards,Awais M.It would be great to have some kind of ACARS functionality to come with the NGX (e.g. like in Aerowinx' B744 where one can request destination METAR).CheersFrederik FREDERIK STEINER
September 20, 201015 yr or an ACARS API.... (hint, hint) :DYou got it... :( But first of all I'd pray for shared cockpit. That would really add for it to be a serious training aid. Also I wonder if they have 10.8 in the FMC... hope so. Been around for some time so they might.
September 20, 201015 yr All of the engine variants are already in. The engines are all the CFM56-7B series, but with different thrust ratings. Airlines have a choice when they order the airplane from Boeing.Dear Ryan,Will there be a "full panelsave" function included. Including FMC data, like the MD11 and 747? So you can split your flight in two days.( By the way, it is sadly missing in the J41 and so badly wanted :( )Thanks for responding.Eric Eric van Dorp
September 20, 201015 yr I would not think that there will be any updates for at least a week or more as Robert is at the air races in Reno. JeffG
September 20, 201015 yr Congratulations to RSR, Grace 8 and her pilot. As far as I can tell from the Reno Air Races website they came in 4th in their class. I hope they wrap up quickly, so we can get our update. "A life is like a garden. September 20, 201015 yr It seems like most of your posts are policing other people and telling them what rule they violated and telling them to fix it. I mean really? Are you that dominative that you must continually do this? Find something else to do.Is this the only thread that you read Eric? (I can tell that you didnt read the rules and post your full name) Dan has helped out in countless threads on this forum. The more time that he spends telling them to read the rules, less time is needed for PMDG staff to enforce/respond it. <---------------> Mike Murawski
September 20, 201015 yr I'm not going to comment past saying that the airplane is in internal alpha testing.Hey wait a minute, finally getting somewhere.:( Kenneth M."PUP"Craddock IIPC: Alienware Aurora R4 Intel I7-3820.....As for the rest is classified http://pup4ordfsxmore.blogspot.com/
September 20, 201015 yr Alpha/Beta testing is not such a bad thing. Quailty assurance of the product (in this case NGX) is key to proper functionality of the product. While down the line of course there will be updates, but most of the time if not always you want to keep the "bugs" to a mininum. If we have to wait longer then so be it. I rather have a product that has been checked by numerous different sources to assure its effectiveness then one that has'nt. September 20, 201015 yr Besides the commercial liveries that will come with the NGX, Will there be any military ones for ex. US Navy P8A? Kenneth M."PUP"Craddock IIPC: Alienware Aurora R4 Intel I7-3820.....As for the rest is classified http://pup4ordfsxmore.blogspot.com/
