90FPS IN VC!!!! WOWOWOWOW!!! I am only 30 FPS in FSX by 5970 CF and 980XI need to buy what that can make FSX to 90FPS in NGX VC?

What is it that fixates people with absolute numbers? In the same post, in the same sentence even, Robert also said "But in this same location with the PMDG 747-400X, I'd be lucky to see 30fps.". So as things stand, if you can run PMDG's 747 at a level YOU are happy with, then you will have no problem running the 737 at the same level or better. Personally, I think this this is amazing news as I was expecting their bench mark to be the JS41 which is much harder on my system.

Many apologies - I posted before I re-read. It was meant to say 'my FO and I would be...' Being totally obsessive-compuslive about the cleanliness and the arrangement (parallel-ness and distance) of things and tools at my workplace, I would probably not burden the FO with that, but rather do it myself, because most people don't understand what 'really clean' means. But if the FO would want to help, I would not object. Usually tho, I get stared at like I'm a wacko. Ignoring the dirt and mess around oneself must be a guy thing that I can't understand.

Only one thing to ask, which versions will be included?most likely the 736-737-738 and 739, but also ER versions of those that have ER's?Renzo

Ahh I see where you are getting. Now after that statement I would be hard pressed to find someone who WOULD NOT want to fly with you. You seem like a nice person. All in all I wouldn't mind helping you clean up a little when you have an attitude like this. It makes for a pleasant trip.

Just adding to the conversation, Mike Ray who puts out the PC Simulator books and the Checkride Guides is writing a new on for the 737NG which should be out around the holidays.The last on he did for the 737 was for the Guppy and this will cover the 600 through 900 series. JeffG

While I prayed and wished long and hard for the NGX to be secretly released to us die hard FS9ers, I have to admit a serious interest in the FSX version now that I've seen some screenies.WHenever I do actually get time to fly in FS9, I often do so with the NG panel merged with another model (no prizes for guessing who, but I won't mention the name) and still enjoy the old bird.I wish I could say the same for some Airbus panels out there, but that's another story altogether.I'm keeping a close look at this topic every few days, and can't wait for some more info and pics to decide if FSX is finally going to get a high quality addon to fly with.Keep up the work guys, looking forward to the X :(

I would hate to be your FO. Better yet, Id look at you and say, talk to scheduling and tell them to give me 150%. Until then, i'm an FO, not a maid. The pay is bad enough, im not putting up with cleaning the cockpit.

You'd enjoy flying with me then. I used to carry a small, aluminum spray bottle of Windex and a cotton rag in my flight kit. You could always tell which airplane's I'd flown recently, because every surface within reach of the left seat was scrubbed clean.If you wanted to clean your part of the office- I'd be happy to loan you some- but I'd never have ordered it.You are there to keep me from killing us with the airplane. Besides- you probably wouldn't look that great in the maid outfit. :(

hahahahahhahahahhaWe share this affliction.I had a captain friend at our line who was well aware of my fingerprint insanity. If she knew I was taking the airplane from her, she'd draw a smiley face on the EADI with her finger before departing...Okay- maybe she wasn't a friend after all.... :(

Alex-Each update will take place in it's own thread...I think it is fascinating that the other preview post has nearly 500,000 views- but it is too long and unwieldy for my own tastes.We are not going to provide any release information. One day you'll show up in the forum to find out it is available. After all, we never know "when it'll be done" but we always know "when it's done."
