blakeit is nothing to do with the release of this NGX aircraft. its just a fmc that can be used for any aircraft.if it means alot to you, just make a new topic? :)

There are a lot of discussions on here that don't have to do with the release of the NGX. If you don't want to read posts, you don't have to. But we don't need people on here telling us to move along, especially when the discussion at hand has relevancy to the particular topic. I'm thinking of a Beetles song right now. Let it be.

Geez, this is getting ridiculous. I have been checking everyday (yes, that's my problem).I have been patient, but it's starting to wear out. From all the screen shots and information so far it looks close but we have no indication of actually how close. Maybe it was not a good idea to say the projected release date was mid-2010, from what I can gather it could be tomorrow, or next year.PMDG, I am a big fan, have bought most of your aircraft, but you need to either say nothing, or provide a little more guidance of how things are tracking. Post some updates but maybe lock it, so it doesn't just go totally out of control with absolute crap that we have to haul through.Rant over, ready for the incoming.Mark

I actually hate to admit it, but over the last couple of days I too am getting really bored and have lost a lot of passion and excitment for this project now.. for one it could "just be another" addon, with no end it site..could do with news or something to keep rank and order,, just now,, im not feeling this project anymore. :(peace

I think they're doing a stealth release with this one. After Aerosoft's leak of the JS41 release, PMDG's itching to get the secret release right with the NGX. From the snippets we've seen, the product is very advanced (working VSD etc). PMDG have been working on this for a long time. They like to play sneaky games, riddles, word play, with their customers (nothing bad about it, I think it's fun).The recent talk of getting it into beta, putting systems in etc... this is all the smoke misleading us into thinking the NGX is not as advanced as it is.One day it we'll simply get an announcement that it's released, and it will be the best surprise in the history of FS addons!

Yes! I can see it now. Every third letter in every fourth word that Ryan has said in this topic (Starting after the header, and through until something is spelled(not telling)), has the day of the week it will be released.The number of average number of letters in the first word of every new paragraph, plus 6, is the month it will be released.And should the first 4 words of the last paragraph of the header post be arranged in a circle, every fith letter clockwise spells complete and utter nonsense :( :(

I remember you saying this in the past. There is a post by Robert Randazzo in another thread (can't seem to find it), where he says something like, and I'm paraphrasing, "you're going to just see it pop up on the product list one day". Not those exact words, but that was his message. I'm sure there's no deliberate attempt to confuse prospective customers, but your intention to announce the beta phase doesn't concur with his comment. I pass this info to you so you'll understand why some get confused, hearing two different messages from the same developer group.

I'd be more than content with an early release of the pdf docs :Big Grin:When they're ready, of course.
