September 8, 201015 yr We havent heard anything about the Dash-8 for a long time.I think that will be PMDGs secerate release. I doubt we will have any previews and will just come on one day with it saying DASH-8 Released.
September 8, 201015 yr Commercial Member Ok have the be a grumpy old man here as usual (I'm not that old) :( Could the people that are complaining about getting bored etc actually spend some time studying this aircraft using the smartcockpit links and all the other info on the net. I have a feeling from past releases it's going to be the same people flooding the forum with HELP ME! questions on release.... Rob Prest
September 8, 201015 yr I'd be more than content with an early release of the pdf docs :Big Grin:When they're ready, of course.www.b737.org.uk - this should keep you busy for a while. You can also try to borrow an FCOM from a friendly captain Piotr Święcik
September 8, 201015 yr Hey all,Will I be able to have more information on advancing it known 737 NGX like new captures, etc ???I waited much too long and there it is more possible. Please, made as fast as possible.William
September 8, 201015 yr Geez, this is getting ridiculous. I have been checking everyday (yes, that's my problem).I have been patient, but it's starting to wear out. From all the screen shots and information so far it looks close but we have no indication of actually how close. Maybe it was not a good idea to say the projected release date was mid-2010, from what I can gather it could be tomorrow, or next year.PMDG, I am a big fan, have bought most of your aircraft, but you need to either say nothing, or provide a little more guidance of how things are tracking. Post some updates but maybe lock it, so it doesn't just go totally out of control with absolute crap that we have to haul through.Rant over, ready for the incoming.MarkI gotta agree with you on this, a series of updates means at least three updates and it's been around a month since the last one so I'm guessing Christmas at best but could be even early next year before we see it. I'm all for the teasers that Pmdg like to send out but but I think the updates are meant to be pacifers rather than teasers because people are getting frustrated with the wait particularly because 'it been coming soon for over a year'. Was this a strategy to prevent competitors attempting a decent 737ng for fsx or did something happen internally to push deadlines out I guess we will never know but it's disappointing that our interpretation of the word 'soon' seems to differ to pmdg'sMike Kendall
September 8, 201015 yr While I myself check at least once a day for an update.. It is refreshing to see there isn't one as that means they are working extremely hard behind the scenes on this aircraft. Try not to speculate to much myself on the release dates of aircraft, but in being around for the MD-11 release, and J41.. It seems to me they work really hard during the programming/alpha stage so that way the beta's are shorter... So my guess would not be x-mas, but that is just me. I just ordered a copy of the 747X on CD anyway so hopefully that will be here this week, and will give me time to familiarize myself with Boeing systems anyway. Cannot wait to see what new stuff they have crammed in though. That vertical terrain display gauge should be fun to mess around with doing some non-FAA approved flying. September 8, 201015 yr I actually hate to admit it, but over the last couple of days I too am getting really bored and have lost a lot of passion and excitment for this project now.. Me too... I suspect they just have nothing to show... Regards,Stan
September 8, 201015 yr Me too... September 8, 201015 yr Guys, i don't think reverse psychology works with PMDG :(its not reverse psychology , i legit am losing interest bill yakin
September 8, 201015 yr Yeah, i guess my interest isn't as fanatic as it was a month ago, but i think it will change when we get more updates. Although i'd like :( we can't force them to be quicker, but i guess im preaching for the choir boys?EDIT: Btw, im thinking of updating my computer after the NGX comes (i want to see how it runs on my current setup) , with a i7 930, better PSU (750w corsair), nvidia GTX 480, asus p6 mobo and maybe 4g more ram. All this will cost almost as much as my current computer (intel 2 core duo e8500, 4gb, msi midend mobo, ati 4870 1gb gfx.) about 1200 euro. :( Is it a sound thing to do, or should i wait until i can get the same things cheaper or better things for the same price? September 8, 201015 yr Hmm, the ******* tweak, is that when you do 10 ave maria's before booting up the computer and then 5 before FSX? :( Sorry, just couldn't resist. On a more serious note, i think i have heard of it but do you have a link?Cheers William GreenCase: CM HAF 922 PSU: Corsair HX 1000W Mobo: ASUS P8P67 Deluxe CPU: Intel i7 2600K 4.8Ghz HT Off GPU: MSI GTX 770 Lightning 2GB RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws X 8GB 2133Mhz (9-11-10-28-1T) CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14 Soundcard: SB XtremeGamer PCI Screen: EIZO Foris FG2421 "240"hz OS: Win7 64

September 8, 201015 yr Just a quick question to the powers to be....or someone with better eyes or knowledge than me...Have noticed that newer 737 ng's have a very dark grey almost black panel (more 787 style and color) as opposed to older ones that have a ligher grey style. I think the newer ones look pretty sweet and just wondered if us users will be able to switch that aspect out any as other ac you guys have done have had the option...Newer dark gray/black:http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6915104http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6903023http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6899179http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6859976http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6759031Older light gray:http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6750134http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6775279http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6836189http://jetphotos.net....php?id=6823835Think the new ones look pretty good, but as we are going for a bit used looking, not sure, thought I would bring it up:) Simon
