From the sticky FAQ5. Q: FS9 tells me it's unable to load the b732adv.gau gauge fileA: Make sure you have installed the included FSSound.dll file into the fs9modules folder.

Mine doesn't work, I have tried V.1.30 and up to V.1.32. As I understand FSSound.dll is not used for new 1.32, but still I get a message gauge B732adv.gau cannot load. I have new FSUIPC, correctly installed Windows module, all sound files are in place according to installation notes. How can I fix this? Use FS9, and WinXP with new DirectX. Please help! Nik.

Try this:Check your FS9.cfg file for the presence of the following two lines:[OLDMODULES]FSSound.dll=1If they are not there, just add them to the bottom of the file and save your work. This also assumes you have placed the FSSound.dll file into your Modules folder.Let us know if that solves the problem please.

FS9.cfg has FSSound.dll, which is of course is in Modules folder. Still can't load any gauges. Version before 1.3 works, but 1.3 and up doesn't want to load gauges. What's the problem? Please advise.

FSSound.dll is no longer used in V1.30 of the TinMouse II onwards. Please read item #1 of the FAQ, in particular the section in bold red text.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Okay, FSSound, dll is no longer used, but that doesn't make the b732adv.gau in new version 1.30+ to work. It doesn't function, however, earlier b732adv.gau gauges work without autopilot. What do you think? I have everyting correct, how to be? Maybe 737-200adv.air has to be updated, or I have to register b732adv.gau in FSUIPC manually? Aloha!Det.560 "Bronx Bobmbers" ret.ROTC Cadet.

Exactly what message are you getting--word for word, please? The air file has nothing to do with loading the gauges.Make sure that there is only one copy of FSUIPC.dll in the FS9 modules folder--do not rename an older version of a module and leave it there, as FS9 will load any program file it finds in the folder regardless of the file extension or name. Also, make sure that if you do not have ISG gauges installed in FS9, that you do not have the ISG option specified in either the TM.ini file (ISGEquipped 1) or the title= line of the airplane you are using.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Maybe theres a conflict with 737-200 V4.0 it also has b732adv.gau? But I uninstalled it. The message I get is following: ERROR - FS9 Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Flight Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disable. File: AIRCRAFT\fsfsconv\panel.b732ADV\B732ADV.GAU. After I press it like 160 times, plane loads with no gauges. In Modules I also have FSUI.DLL

Not sure what V4.0 is...that's not something from the TinMouse Project, perhaps it was one of the third-party Frankenpanels that was based on the older version? It sounds like you have an old version of the gauge trying to load. Do a file search in your FS9 directory and get rid of any copies of the B732ADV.gau file in other directories--there could be a copy lurking somewhere like FS9 \gauges, or possibly in another dir from a previously-installed Frankenpanel. If you right-click on the gauge in your fs9 \aircraft\fsfsconv\B732ADV directory and look at properties, you should see the version number...should be 1.32.It's also possible that the gauge file is the right version, but corrupted...might be worth a redownload and reinstall.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Hey, I did what you told me and now I have another message Invalid XGS Path - Please contact support and quote error code 0x80070057 and the message box title. One or more Xact Project Files Could not Be located at specified location! Gauges now appear after I uninstalled ISG, and deleted some information from FSUIPC config. TinMouse Error - No Active Audio Device. FS2Crew is it required? Do I have to uninstall it too? P.S. The new sounds are awesome though, I feel like I'm in a real 732. Thanks, Colonel!

The invalid XGS path error occurs when the three panel audio wavebank files can't be found in the \sound directory in the FS9 root folder. Make sure they're not in the other \sound folder located in the aircraft directory. The FS2Audio.dll file distributed in the V1.30 download is required, and must be placed in the windows \system32 directory, and also in the windows \sysWOW64 directory on 64-bit versions of Windows. The system path must also include a path to system32 and/or sysWOW64...it does in a default setup.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
